Care & Services

Personal care, medication management, meals, companionship, respite care and more, planned around each person.

First Class Luxury is a home away from home. Your loved one lives with us, with care, meals and companionship all under one roof.

What we help with

Everyday help and companionship, in a comfortable setting. The care below is described in our Disclosure of Services on file with DSHS.

  • Personal care: help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care, oral and nail care, from gentle reminders and standby help to full assistance.
  • Medication management: full medication assistance by nurse-delegated caregivers, including insulin injections and blood sugar checks.
  • Delegated nursing tasks: tasks a nurse can delegate under Washington rules, such as wound care, catheter care and diabetic care.
  • Meal planning and preparation: three nutritious meals a day plus snacks, customized to dietary preferences and restrictions. We can prepare a mechanical soft diet.
  • Mobility assistance: help with walking and transfers (standby or one-person help, and Hoyer lift transfers when needed), plus regular repositioning for residents at risk of pressure sores.
  • Transportation: ask us how we can help your loved one get to appointments.
  • Companionship: friendly care, with conversation and activities to ease loneliness and support well-being.
  • Respite care: temporary relief for family caregivers, preventing burnout while your loved one stays well cared for. Call us to ask about availability for a respite stay.
  • Dementia and mental health care: our home holds DSHS specialty designations in both.

Built for safety and comfort

The bathrooms are designed for easy, safe movement, with a barrier-free roll-in shower, grab bars, and a shower seat.

How care is planned

We believe each person is unique, with their own needs and preferences. We work closely with you and your loved one to create a care plan that suits them best.

  1. Assessment. We start with a written assessment, and we talk with you and your loved one about their needs, routines and what matters to them.
  2. Care plan. Together we create a personalized plan, so everyone who helps knows what a good day looks like.
  3. Regular review. Washington rules require the assessment to be updated at least every 12 months, and sooner when health changes, when the plan no longer fits, or when you ask.

Working with health providers

We work with home health care and hospice services. Through nurse delegation, trained caregivers can take on tasks such as medication administration, blood glucose testing and diabetic injections.

What we can and can’t support

Being honest about limits builds trust and saves you time.

What we can support

Dementia and mental health care (our DSHS specialty designations), help with all daily personal care, incontinence care, Hoyer lift transfers, diabetic care including insulin, mechanical soft diets, and care alongside home health and hospice.

When we may not be the right fit

Every home has limits, and needs can change. If your loved one’s needs go beyond what we can safely provide, we’ll tell you honestly during your tour or as soon as we know.

Not sure what level of care is needed?

Call us Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and we’ll talk it through.
